Re: Play suggestions for Tampa Bay game
Ok so I am thinking of a few plays that might work on offense next game.

1)I really would like to something like that pump-fake, 180 degree turn and pass to Cooley. It worked pretty well, and I think the Pats run it quite a bit. Only concern for that would be Brunell's knee.
2) HB pass with Portis! He has a 113 QB rating or something.
3)A play-action pass deep on the first possesion of the game for the Skins. Just to keep their D honest and to take a shot.
4)Get Trash, Brown, and maybe even Jacobs involved early with short in routes, etc. to keep the D from swarming Moss.
5) Bc Barber is gonna be on Moss, run a pump and go, because Barber will bit for the interception.
6)The people at XtremeSkins posted a thread about a fake screen pass deep, but the argument agaisnt that is that it will take too long to develop and their not enough time to get it off.

Your guys opinion, and any more plays that will be valuable?
I agree with all those plays, especially the first one,I also like the misdirection play where they fake to one side then pitchout to portis on the other side, but i'd love to see the first play be a bomb to moss, brunell wasnt sharp last week, but his 2 best throws were the deep balls to moss and thrash

I want to see the fake pump screen to portis, then Brunell twists around and throws to the other side of the field to cooley in the flats for a screen ...

Take a page from the USC playbook. Have Moss go in motion and throw a screen to him and then have Moss throw a pass to one of his would be blockers like Cooley, Sellers or another receiver. The only thing is does Moss have any kind of arm? If not sub Moss with Portis.

Portis left. Portis right. God Damn it, Portis all night. Remember he made his introduction to Tampa as a Redskin with 168 yds. last season and 140 yds this season. They just can't stop him. Just when the Bucs think they have Portis figured out, run the Joe Gibbs special, "The flee flicker" Easy TD. On the next possession run a reverse to Santana to Antonio Brown back to Brunell for Thrash deep in the corner for a good ole ' 80's style TD. This will work with Portis and Sellers blocking.

How about bring Taylor in for short yardage situations like they did before. Or why not just bring him in to confuse and even scare people haha.
I want to see the short pass (under 5 yards, usually used inside the 5 yard line or close to first down marker) to either the right or left involving Cooley or Sellers. I don't think we have run this play enough yet this year. I also don't think the Bucs D will be looking for the Moss screen either, we also haven't run that one enough.
I think there is a need to involve Cooley. For some reason he seems to get open alot and the guy has great hands. You can also bet, actually forget the bet, you can guarantee Mr Clinton Portis will get many many touches. Also as in the Eagles game the complimentary Ladell Betts for 8 yards also helps.
One more thing, I cant argue with 40 gut. Go O Line, Go Skins!
Absolutely. We need to pound Portis and get Royal involved somehow. Cooley was kind of shut down last week, so he needs some throws early to get warm, checkdowns would be fine. Double TE sets with Royal and Sellers should set up some play action for Santana.......I love when we run that quick hitch to Santana on first down, he usually picks up 8 yards or goes for a TD. Portis to Cooley on HB option would be nice. But what we really need is the "old" Joe Gibbs style, run a reverse from Portis to Moss to open the game and get that first down. Didn't he used to run that play opening every week to Clark or Sanders? It always worked even though teams knew it was coming, like Dexter was.....On defense, we can shut down the Caddy and Joey Galloway is going to be a nightmare, hopefully Carlos can play and Sean T. can double him, because if we shut him down, we win. Springs needs to get better quick and the Ade's heart better be OK.... No turnovers on offense and force another 6 on a young QB, blitz LBs until he's frazzled.....c'mon Thrash, you can do something good again...If Taylor Jacobs has a pulse, it's time for him to find it now, or he can go join Spurrier in South Carolina.

RB screen, and not to Betts this time please!! Portis+screen=touchdown. It is very simple really.
