I agree that his injuries are probably going to keep him from ever being a viable starter, but comparing him to Kyle Boller is ridiculous.
Yeah comparing most QBs in the league to Boller is pretty odd. Except maybe Harrington. I am pretty sure they are the same guy. I didn't compare them though that was someone else.

Herm Edwards is a great hire for Kansas City. Players give everything they have for Edwards. If I was a Chief fan, I would be very elated. Herm Edwards is one of the young firey coaches that garners the respect of their players. I would also include Bill Cowher, John Gruden, Marvin Lewis, Tony Dungy, Jim Mora and Lovie Smith on that list.
Umm, didn't Billick win a Superbowl? Can fathom how a coach that won a Superbowl can be considered overrated, especially with the atrocious offense they had during their run.
he didn't win it. Marvin Lewis's defense led by Ray Lewis won that superbowl. it sure as heck wasn't the fake "offensive genius" Brian Billick.
and this definitely hurts the Jets and has the Chiefs in line to be a top 4 team next year with his influence being immediate on the defense. this could also be good for the Jets if they go with a coach like the under appreciated Mike Sherman or an offensive minded coach like Mike Martz.

Is it a conditional 4th? Like if the Chiefs finish under .500 does it drop to a 6th round pick?

Seriously though, I like Herm. I think there was some sort of clash between him and the Jets GM that forced him out. It will be interesting to see what changes Edwards makes in KC. Will Priest be pushed out? Will they finally find someone to ultimately replace Trent Green? And what about that defense?
