LOL, you guys are cracking me up....why can't he offer a rebuttal after TK made light of his city?

Digs at the skins name are getting old? how about digs at the Seattle-Starbucks connection?

The piece had a few good lines. For some reason, "Dick Cheney's from Pluto" cracked me up.
Funny I haven't heard about the Seattle-Starbucks connection being dragged into the court room lately.

I'm well aware this article is just a friendly jab and not to be taken seriously, I was just making a general comment that the name debate is old news.

TK's columnette took at jab at Seattle being host to Starbucks and Microsoft, I believe. A lot of the extremeskins posters and the WP forum posters are bantering with Seattle fans on the same lines. Both have been overdone, IMO.

I'm with you about the skins name debate.

That column is hilarious. This guy is obviously a bit of a left winger too. I was expecting some illogically spiteful Ann Coulter sh*t.

His boys will get to taste something this weekend, other than spit. Their own blood when they try on the "National Defense".
Did you know during this week, Seattle reporters are allowed to use the word "Redskins" only once while they are on the air, and then they must refer to us as Washington the rest of the time?
What a bunch of pussies. God, Seattle needs to stick to their Nintendo games and lattes

The local news did show the players arriving at the hotel last night. The started the segment by saying "Welcome to rainy Seattle. Better get used to it!". They keep playing up the rain angle like it is some sort of advantage. I'll take this weather over 5 degrees and sunny in Lambeau Field or 25 and snowy in Philly. Brunell went to college here. I think he knows how to deal with this "horrible" weather.

Its interesting to note how the rain angle is being played up when by total rainfall amount DC gets almost 3 inches more rain than Seattle per year.

I think the reason why they keep playing it is because it's rained in Seattle for 26 days straight or something like that.

True. We are on a streak up here, but rain will not be a factor. Maybe their crowd will, but the we'll be fine in this weather.

And with seattle having field turf there wont be any mud either.
