Re: Koren on Comcast
One year contract with the Vikes was for $540k....
He's probably smoked that it all away by now though, so we might be able to get him for a dimebag and a motel rental.
LOL, I think this is the last guy we need around Sean Taylor, he had Jerry Rice ability coming out of college, but it just goes to show you greatness is not all about physical talent. If he proves to be on the path of the straight and narrow then by all means, but I do say proof, not talk, we don't need jail house religion until he's given a contract. |

It will because like the Wizards in the 90's, where we would find out Howard and Webber getting caught every weekend for drug possesion, etc. |
Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
he'd still be cheap, i'd go for it as long as a backup plan was in place. If he has friends here and a family atmosphere he could probably do better... maybe he's changed, maybe not, but it'd be low risk just like the bargains (injury/age) we've gotten (springs, harris, R brown, etc) even though some didn't work out (fiore, barrow, vaughn).

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
If he signs for minimum he's worth it. If he shows up reaking of alcohol in training camp he'll be gone. If he wants to be a real football player he'll buy in. I've never been real impressed with him. I like the idea of Wayne or Randle El, but I also like the idea of a 'undiscovered' threat WR. Not Johnnie Morton! hahahahhahaha!

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
I'd be all for it. He changed the numbers on his jersey around because he said "he's changed his life around". I truly believe that he made a commitment to being a better person.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
why not, maybe he will chaged his ways here,
and be motivated to play under gibbs |
Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
Sounds like TO-distractions without TO-talent.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
We don't need to be the wayward home for recovering troublemakers. His pass catching is a question and his character is a wuestion. What is there to want? He isn't even a fit for this team is he was any good. Much less as a questionable talent.

Read that before you criticize the guy... |
Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
The guy is definitely talented, if he has his head on right now he might be worth taking a shot at. He proved in Minnesota he can make plays, I was against him in the past but now I'd consider him.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
we could atleast use him on kickoffs. even though antonio brown did take one to the house, i dont think anyone is really comfortable with him back there, i know every time i was just hoping he didnt fumble.

Re: Koren Robinson on Comcast (Local DC TV)
AB is a mess on punt returns.
The guy fair catches balls he could return, and he returns balls he should fair catch. I swear my heart was in my throat on every return he had. |

My mantra every time he wa back there was "Catch the ball AB. And hold on to it. Just fair catch it. Whatever. But don't fumble it." He scares the hell out of me back there. |

Yeah my biggest issue is his head. We don't need a malcontent or locker room distraction. I am still wary but I would trust Gibbs' judgement if he got to sit down with the guy and see where his head is. Maybe a back loaded deal with some serious escape clauses early on that would be incentive to stay clear minded as he seems to be now. One does wonder if this is just a "contract" year deal though. Doesn't sound like it necessarily but I am just a little jaded on guys like this. |
