Re: Archuleta for Sale
AA is here to support the run defense. Sean is here to kill any receiver dumb enough to run a slant. And support on the out patterns, fly's, and deep hooks when we are blitzing a cb. I am not of the opinion that Sean will serve any jail time, and I feel that AA was purchased to strengthen our run stop ability, not to temporarily replace Sean.
In the unfortunate situation that ST is locked up, then AA wont even be playing that position, he will stay a Strong Safety. |
Re: Archuleta for Sale
he doen't play as well as those numbers indicate in coverage... he kinda plays safety like its a linebacker position ;)
but no doubt he has talent.
who cares how he plays this guy was brought to cause turnovers everyones gnna get beat in coverage but not everyone has the ability to make up by making a big play.:) |
Re: Archuleta for Sale
I think it was more of a worst case scenario signing with upside. If Taylor misses time, it will be good to have a hard hitting safety. If Taylor is back they have the best Safety tandem in the league.
When you say if Taylor misses time do you mean from injury? If he gets convicted you probably will never see him play football again.

Last I heard, a person is innocent until proven guilty. The case against ST is at best, a he-said, he-said argument. That's why they try the case. The Prosecution tries to prove him guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. The Defense only needs to cast a shadow of doubt. For the purposes of this Forum, let us presume ST is innocent. |

true, but keep in mind we are talking about a professional athlete. even a normally "open and shut case" turns in favor of the defendant when they are in the spotlight. it will probably be reduced to jaywalking or something. |
