****, canthetuna, you beat me to it! Almost didn't read the thread, glad I did!

Seriously though, I loved LaVar's ability as a player, hated his lack of leadership and fact that he was out of position. For every huge play that had me on my feet, he had another play that had me wondering why he was running past the sidelines.

First came to mind was the Carolina interception. The best one would best Aikman hit.
Ill never forget the first time I learned how to spell his name.
Indeed. Who among us will forget the time we first read about LiVar and said "Levvar who?"

With time, the name LaVir Arrington would become etched in our collective consciousness. So today, I salute you, Łæڸǻř.

:D

The thing I'll remember is that his name is spelt "LaVar" not Levar

Him closeline tackling McNabb 3 years ago, he closelined him in the chest and threw him to the ground... I dont know if any1 else remembers that

How much it sucked the day they announced he would no longer be a Redskin.

Ok I'll go along but I think we should stop all Lavar threads until he is signed by another team and limit that to just one and maybe another after the season has started. Then we all can say how great he's playing or that its good we got rid of him beacuse he is doing nothing.

The hit on Troy.

His enthusiasm and love for the game and the Redskins organization.

Yeah, I'm going to surpress all the times he pissed me off into a bitter little ball and flush it down the toilet in my mind.

I'll just remember the early retirement hit on Troy.
the interception against carolina and saying all the right things when the skins were horrible
Yeah, this is my LaVar memory, too. He single-handedly woke up a dead 0-5 team that sunny afternoon.

The thing I'll remember is that this word is spelled "spelled."

This thread is starting to get amusing!

Re: The "The one thing I will remember about Levar" thread

But seriously, what I'll always remember about him is the emotion. It could be a great thing when he was fired up and laying a huge hit on a RB. But it could also be a bad thing, causing him to say things he'd later regret and causing him to get caught out of position on some plays.
