True, as with any team the second quarterback is who everyone calls for when the team is losing.

He will be respected and get a good ovation. I wouldn't expect any harsh words or boos, but I do expect someone from the D to lay him out at least once.

Funny thing is, I agree. BUT....coming from a Bears fan? Get the hell out of here bro, I have three words that'll put you to bed: Grossman, Orton, Blake. Your guys make Ramsey look like Montana.

Snyder screwed Ramsey even the day he was traded! Coles at least was offerd a PLASMA TV. Wish Pat all the best. I have meet him Twice both times on a golf course and was a very humble guy.

Hey guys, without having to scroll through the 300+ posts on the official NFL free agent signings thread, can someone briefly explain the NY Jets-Atlanta-Denver trade?

Didn't the Jets also get Matt Shaub?

Denver was simply the middle man:

Jets get 29th overall pick in the draft, give up Abraham

Falcons get John Abraham plus Denver's third round pick and a fourth rounder (either this or next), and give up the 15th overall pick

Broncos get 15th overall pick, giving up 29th overall pick plus a third and a fourth.

The Broncos got a great deal, with the Falcons getting their guy, and the Jets arguably getting jipped depending on how much one values John Abraham. Schaub is still a Falcon.

He's a great guy, but I think he can't handle his nerves.. I really don't see him handling stress very well... sorry. I'm glad he's gone.

Ramsey may have been a class act w/ a cannon for an arm. But, he made bad decisions and threw into double coverage too much. I wish the best for him... somewhere else.

DM,

What's the word on your Parole Board Hearing?

P. Ram isn't with us any longer, but we still keep up with him, kind of like checking on your Parole Board situation.

I believe his problem was that he never matured as a player. He still plays like a rookie and still makes "rookie" mistakes. He seems to be eternally stuck in his rookie year. If he ever gets past that, he could be a good QB for someone, but I'm glad he's out of our uniform in the meantime.

Yeah, watch this be another Stan Humphries turnout. Oh well, I want to see what Campbell can do!
