I don't mind throwbacks either. I guess we never do because most of them would be worn with the burgundy jerseys and we all know how those are not worn anymore. F-the black ones though. They are too plain, throw some burgundy and gold in there and I'll go along with those.

The black looks horrible, and would look even more stupid with our normal-colored helmets on top of them.

Gold? No...I don't think that would work either.

I love our colors and we shouldn't mess with them again. I never thought I'd like the all-whites, but they did look good, so I'd be open to trying all burgundy once.

We don't wear our burgundy enough in my opinion. Of course it's because we wear white jerseys at home when most other teams wear colored jerseys at home, so we're usually wearing our "home" jerseys on the road. It seems we wear the burgandy against Dallas more than anyone else, but we only wear it a few times a year.

The spear throwbacks are awesome, I'd love if we wore those more often.

What the hell? I can understand different combinations or different shades of Burgundy and Gold, but entirely new colors? We might as well wear Silver and Blue or Purple and White...f-in' strange if you ask me.

That would be OK for jersey sales if they included our team colors...but I still wouldn't like it for the field. These all-black ones are horrible.

Everyone wears black alternatives...the Eagles, Ravens, Lions, plus there's the teams that have always had black like the Steelers, Raiders, Panthers, Saints...

We have unique colors and tradition like no other team in the NFL. We don't have to do stunts like this to sell more merchandise or get attention, we have the most loyal fans in football and even in our disasterous Spurrier years, we STILL ranked near the top on the "Most Popular Team" polls.

I honestly do not consider these jerseys throwbacks. They were just marketed and sold this season (2005) I did hate to see all those people wearing them at the Oakland game though. It was pretty ridiculous.
From a marketing standpoint its genius and Im sure it made money because I have seen all kinds of people wearing them. I personally would never buy a black jersey just as I would never buy a pink one (for anyone I know).
I will add that I do like the one color jersey and pants combo though:

we won 3 superbowls wearing white jerseys, why mess with perfection? If it ain't broke don't fix it. Besides, I think the white Jerseys look perfect. They best compliment the helmet and burgundy pants.

At least part of the profits from the pink ones go breast cancer charities; at least that's how the whole pink hat/jersey thing started, so I think it's still that way. The black jerseys are strictly for profit.

We have sort of had black as a team color for a few years now though. Remember, in Gibbs' first year back he wore a black polo/hat at everygame. Then again, maybe that's why the season was bad...

i think we should go to the anniversary unis we wore Spurriers first season. Those are bad ass. i would like to see some kind of change in the unis. weather its a throwback or a variance of some sort of the current. Everyone is so excited right now about our season, it would just add to the mix.

I HATE that thing! Nothing bothers me more than teams that do not wear black putting out black jerseys. I want the Redskins to wear the white jerseys at home and the burgandy on the road...just like they did when they won Super Bowls.

White jerseys each game hands down. I love the white on white unis. We don't need to change them IMO. I like them how they are. I would like to se burgundy on burgundy but I'm cool with things the way they are. I see alot of teams changing their unis but we don't have to. They are an NFL staple.
