He played with the Bucs after the Cardinals before failing yet another drug test just a few months into his Bucs career.

For a few years Manley was every bit as feared as Lawrence Taylor as a pass rusher and I remember him as the true inspirational leader of a Super Bowl defense. He could take over games. It didn't last long enough and he did it to himself but he'll always be one of my favorite Skin's.

Manley was a great player and a really nice guy too. He lived right across from my elementary school in Reston back in the 80s. We would play football after school on the field and one time he came out and got in on the game. Hope he makes a full recovery. Nice to know this isn't drug related.

He was so much fun to watch. He's the reason I wore #72 all through Pop Warner and High School. I hope this is the wake up call that will set him straight for good.

I wish him the best. I too remember those days when there was nothing the other teams could do to stop him. I think he played some of his best games jack up on coke.
