I would think that Ortega is going to make the practice squad ( filling the void that R J left behind ). I guess that Kevin Simon was all hype during otas. Did anyone else realize he was hurt through traing camp? Anyway nothing very surprising on the list.

I figured he'd get pratice-squaded and RJ would make the team. Then when RJ got hurt, as he always does, Ortega would be available to come up. This basically means Ortega is a lock for the roster now. This is good. I think Ortega has been a bright spot for us. Just surprised at how it went down.

We are not keeping many TEs because we need space to keep all of the RBs and WR we have.

Sadly no, Bramlet is not worth the investment b/c he is no where close to ready. Trust me in this one. Sadly COllins is worth more. Great outlook for season.

Look at the lions last year all the talented recivers with no one to throw the ball to him. Mark step back and read . Can we skip preseason so they can win already.

Very true.
I think we need to send Ortega to NFL Europe or prac squad long enough to gain 25 lbs or so and develop some more, but seems to have a great eye for the ball and sure hands.
