He was the only reason to watch Animal Planet, unless you have thing for hippos humping.

It's never funny when tradgedy happens, but I think we all knew it was coming sooner or later. You can only wrestle so many dangerous animals for so long.
its really wierd that all of his screwing around with crocs, a sting ray did him in
I think this makes sense though. I would have been more suprised if he'd been killed by a croc or snake bite because he knows those animals better. I remember hearing once that in all of his years of handling poisonous snakes he'd never once been bitten. This really makes me upset, plus it ruined my mom's birthday. :( |
Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
This is like one of us dying from a heart attack because were cheering too hard at a pee wee football game...
Really Sad, but not totally unexpected either. |
Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
Great man. Sad ending. I feel for his family. His two kids have lost their father and that is a tragedy.

Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
Are you all crazy????????????
Is anyone suprised that this crazy man would die any other way? What, did you imagine 20 years down the road he dies of a car accident or stroke? Im amazed he lived this long. Thats the real magic of it all. |
Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
It is so cool he died by "STINGRAY BARB to the HEART!".
That so kicks ass man. Dare I say Chuck Norris wants to die so cool? Rest in Peace and may God comfort the family mike |
Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
out of all the ways I thought he might go out this one didn't even come close to popping into my mind. I heard about it on the radio and at first thought it was a bad joke, but then I heard from a couple customers confirming it. I mean a freakin sting ray barb through the heart just sounds so absolutely unbelieveable. The guy was pretty out there but he had his energy and his life put towards something he obviously loved and was a big figurehead towards the worthy cause of wildlife preservation. I send my condolances(sp?) to his family and friends. RIP

Re: Apparently EVERYONE in the world is Mortal: Steve Irwin dead at 44
not to make light of the situation, but i can just hear him say, "aw cricky," when the barb went into his chest. he always said that.

That was one of the first things I said yesterday when I heard it happened while filming.
I really don't want to see it but I know morbid couriosity will get the better of me if it's ever online. |
