Re: DC Examiner...anyone besides me read this paper?
If you can't laugh at yourself while your having a heart attack in the lobby at Redskins Park while the owner is laughing at you having a heart attack in the lobby of Redskins Park then what can you laugh at?
heres one for you then. Lets shut the down the "carousel" then. We need to keep our core players here such as Ryan Clark. It wouldnt have cost 30 million to resign him...as it cost to bring AA here. Everyone in the nfl knows where to go to get paid. Its here. We need to build from within. We dont turn this thing around i can see a new article written by Snider...it goes a little something like this....I TOLD YOU SO
Sorry but Clark wasn't what I would consider to be a core player. He was a journeyman DB, a solid guy but I'd argue a borderline starter in this league. He's undersized, he didn't do anything particularly well, yeah he was solid but he didn't make or break this defense that's for sure. Let's give AA a little more time than just 2 games to see if he was worth the investment. |

as much as i liked clark, he doesnt start for pitts. but, that being said, i would of preferred he stayed, and the money spent on A.A. being used on maybe a linebacker or an offensive lineman. i was never an A.A. fan. good in run support but pretty much worthless in pass defense. thats why i think prieloeus injury will have an bigger impact on our defense than people realize
