tom brady. he's cheap, he's good. no other player is going to help you win as much (peyton is MUCH more expensive, which puts you at a bigger disadvantage).

Steve Hutchinson.

The guy is an absolute animal at guard, and would turn our O-line from "pretty good" to unbeatable. Paired up with Thomas, we'd have the unquestioned best pulling line in the league. Behind that and Mike "the sledgehammer" Sellers, Portis would be running DEEP into the secondary on every carry. The trenches, ladies and gentlemen is where you win or lose games.

I understand and yes I was excited about AA, but cautiously, because it was reported that he was on the downside of his career... I don't think anyone here speculated what was to be.

Troy P is amazing to watch. he flies around the field with wreckless abandon and he is a complete safety, not just a hard hitter... the cat can cover pretty well, too...

Your statement is like saying we shouldn't bring in Peyton Manning because look what happened to Heath Shuler...

I would take Merriman at the weak-side backer position. Talk about a pass rush! Offensively I would draft Calvin Johnson! Could you imagine the tandem of JC and CJ? Keep those two and all QB/WR records would be shattered.

Marcus Stroud.
We need a big body DT that demands a double team in the worst way. Stroud is the best there is at his position in my opinion. A guy like that would improve the entire defense tenfold.
