I thought that too when I was talking to my neighbor a former Minnesotan!

Can't quite say Vi-Queens to him now, can I?
Well, hopefully, after week 16, you can.

Sports Talk 980 reported he passed the breath test at the station.

Darn...as soon as I heard the report, I thought "Maybe he'll miss Week 1!"
Wait...are we talking about Brandon Lloyd?
As inconsistent as Chambers is he's still a much better WR than Lloyd.

I feel the same way about Brandon Lloyd.

Lloyd needs a few more catches than 23 before I'd mention him in the same breath as Chambers, plus it would be nice if he could cement a starting spot.

Can you or anyone honestly tell me that he dropped ANYTHING last year? While he did have limited looks, he most definitely caught EVERYTHING thrown to him.

Re: Chris Chambers arrested......

Football being a vacuum, success for a wideout isnt just about catching the ball. It's mostly about quarterback play. but i don't discount the importance of running precise routes. Consistency for a wideout is in production, not just in the lack of dropped balls. He has to shoulder some of the blame for his shoddy production.
