Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
I do think the Lions will be better this year (not 11-5 better, sorry Citna)...so I will stay away from the sleepers and say Calvin Johnson...what a freak!!

He's a freak, but he's also a Detroit Lion. :D |
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
I live in Norman, OK and I personally knew A.D, I think he may when it, but i hope its our boy L.L..

Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Calvin F'n Johnson will win it. 12 tds will be hard to deny.
LaRon Landry will win the DROY> |
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
I agree with CJ winning it.
|
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
We call him A.D in Norman because it stands for ALL DAY! Thats his nickname.
|
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Dwayne Bowe. The Chiefs won't be good at all this year, but I'd bet Bowe can rack up 1,000 yards, and 6 TDs.

We called him "Laid Up" here in Texas because he was always hurt the last couple of time he faced the Horns. Great talent, but his upright running style will unfortunately mean a short career in the NFL IMO. |
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Marshawn Lynch in Buffalo. That offensive line was rebuilt with some powerful run-blockers, Lee Evans developed into the kind of consistent deep threat you need to keep safeties from creeping towards the line against the run, and there are no other decent RBs in Buffalo. The guy is going to be asked to carry a big load. I think he'll go over 1200 yards.
Adrian Peterson will make his share of big plays, but Chester Taylor will get his share of carries, and Tavaris Jackson doesn't scare anyone in the secondary. Peterson's not going to go off this season. I'll take Lynch.
I completely agree. I actually think that Chester Taylor will have a good year because he knows that as soon as he slips up he's riding the pine. As for DROY, I'd love to see Landry get it, but i think it'd be hard for a safety to win it unless he has an Ed Reed-like season. Maybe Leon Hall in Cinci will win it. All I know is that I will be really, REALLY pissed if Amobie Okoye wins it. |
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Calvin Johnson. Hands Down or maybe up!
|
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
DROY hands down will be patrick willis in san fran, the guys a beast one of the best linebacking talents to come out since marriman
|
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Lynch or Petterson and Landry.
Beware the LL + ST duo. |
Re: Who's Gonna Win Rookie Of The Year?
Although I think Landry is going to be special and it will be scarey with ST and LL back there. I am going to have to say Calvin Johnson if Kitna can get it done, but WR's in Detroit that scares me. I also like Willis he is a awesome LB, but again I am not sure of San Fran. I guess I will have to go with CJ he is just good....

I agree. Bowe was a monster at LSU and everything I've heard, everybody in KC is pretty high on him. The guy on Sirius (the old Dallas GM) said, "Put 2 8's on him and let him be Michael Irvin." If he lives up to that, he'll have had one hell of a career... |
