Tiki is an analyst now so he's going to open his mouth and I personally don't think that he badmouthed Eli. I mean, all he said was he needs to work on his leadership skills as do most young players.

agreed, tiki can say whatever he wants to say. the fact Eli came back so strong just means he took these comments to heart and is probably self concious about his own leadership skills. i dont see him as a strong leader or a clutch player either.

on the other hand, who ever heard of "the barber shop" until now anyways, gotta get those ratings right!

Yeah, Tiki can say whatever he wants ( i think there's an amendment to our constitution having something to do with that...?) But... Eli has the same right. When someone singles you out for not having a quality that they themselves have not demonstrated, you have to respond or you are admitting that what is being said is correct. I listen to the barber shop pretty regularly on Sirius and I can't decide whether Tiki is saying things to get attention or if he really means them. Ronde was funny as hell making fun of his brother last night though.

It's Tiki's job to be critical; it's not his job to essentially say someone isn't a "leader of men." That's humiliating, and even if true, Tiki could've said what he said 100 different ways.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't the "comical" leadership held in a locker room, among teammates, private, off limits to the general public? If so, Tiki broke the code.

Again, I'll reiterate why I hate Tiki Barber.

He has a perfect gig on the Today Show and is the most retarded news-person I've ever seen. I said this once in another thread but it bears repeating.

He was talking to a chef who had a THERMOMETER in something and he was like, "So what's that? A temperature stick?"

Again, like I said in Trotter thread, this team beat us twice last year. Every year people say that the giants are on the verge of self destruct. Well some how they know how to play football on Sunday, and when we have to play them, thay seem to playing with know issues and beat our butts. Just saying.......
