Not really trying to bash Lloyd. I did point out how he came into camp in good condition with a good attitude. And how JC is still learning the system too.

I'd like to see the cat succeed and stick around as a Redskin. I'm just wondering if this is all about him and not the team. On the int., I'm simply repeating what I heard from two different people who attended the game.

When I say are "we" being hard on B. Lloyd?, I'm definitely including myself in that crowd.

That's disappointing. The Redskins system is as easy as it could be. There are options within the numbering system which require being on the same page with the QB but he's had more than enough time to figure that out. I have noticed that when I run "LLoyd Option" on Madden it seldom works out very well. I wish Madden Lloyd were smarter than real Lloyd.

That would make a whole LOT of sense considering it wasn't for lack of catching the ball last year. I just remember him not getting a lot of looks and that would make a lot of sense.

IMO, he cut in front of the DB to try to make the catch. I didn't see any half hearted approach. He came up a little short and the DB made a good catch. Now, i didn't see the replay and I didn't see him after the INT was made. If i'm wrong tell me.

I think that he kind of quit running about the time the ball was being thrown and then started up again when he realized it was coming his way. He would have been in a better position to block out the defender if he had kept going. But, he still could have gotten it if he had timed his jump little better. I don't think one play should make or break anyone. I just think that this team is moving farther on and it's time for people to either get on the train or exit the platform (I'm pretty sure that was an engineer's cap that CP was wearing at his presser after the game). We can't hold Brandon's hand forever.

Speaking of, CP. You know he says some crazy things in interviews at times, but I was impressed with his presser. Very serious and straight forward.

I think alot of people look at the final #'s and put the blame on Lloyd. I'm not so sure that Jerry Rice would be able to put up #'s in our pass game right now. That's just the facts. JC is a young, developing QB that needs to keep on improving. I don't remember but Lloyd did fairly well in SF. San Francisco!!

Maybe there is something to this thing behind the scenes. If there is i'll be the first one to say bench him. But right now i have a hard time putting blame on him. If he's got issues, i'm more than happy to see JT in there as a 3.

I don't think anyone's putting the blame soley on Lloyd. I think people want him to do his part, that's all. ARE got here at the same time, and he's been producing.

I watched it over on TIVO. He barely made an effort to tackle the DB on the return. I think it was Davis for the Phins started sprinting up the field and Lloyd starting jogging. On the INT itself Campbell threw up a 50/50 ball and the DB had position on Lloyd. I'm sure Campbell thought Lloyd could have at least gotten a hand on it to break it up. I think if it was ARE he would have gotten a hand on it.

I want Lloyd to do well for the Skins, but when I'm exerting more energy cheering for the Skins then he is on the field then it's not good.

Yes. I enjoy watching him mau-mau the press. No more shenanigans or monkey-shines. It's as though Southeast Jerome joined the Black Panther Party.

I think I am still a supporter of him, but I wish we threw his way more. We threw to him twice last game, and he kinda was in the doghouse last year. I still think there is something left in him, but I am kinda losing hope for the kid. See what I dont like about the coaching staff is they dont give the opportunity for the kid to even prove his worth. He only got two chances. You cant just give any WR just two chances to prove themselves.

I agree completely. The idea he didn't try hard enough seems ridiculous to me. He misplayed the ball by inches by cutting in front of the DB the way he did and may have been better served to just go up with him instead, but the botch, if there was one, had nothing to do with effort. Get a life, guys. He also caught a pass that was called back through no fault of his own.
I also don't believe he doesn't know the play book. He wouldn't be out there at all if he did. He also doesn't drop passes and has generally succeeded when the ball has been thrown to him.

The fact is, he's just as good here as he was in San Francisco. It's just the chemistry is different here and nobody's giving him a look or making him a first option.
