Re: Fan is short for Fanatic!
as a fan, i don't care what is said to me. but i have 2 rules, don't throw shit on me. and don't touch me. that's what makes eagle fans the worse in the world. there is no reason for any physicality over a football game

So if his balls would have actually gotten ripped completely off, would that mean he had to root for the Dallas Cowboys from now on?

I'm really not one to harass. I find no pleasure in just continually beating someone down, regardless of whom they're fans of. I'll heckle mildly, and then give it a rest. In fact, regardless of your team, sexual preference, religious belief, or gender I'll still treat you like anyone else. Someone asked me the other night if I was being a dick to them because they were gay.... I simply responded, "I'm not being a dick to you because your gay, I'm being a dick to you because your an asshole". I will agree with you though Dmek, I've never experienced anything like Philli. They are, in general, the scum of the earth. |
You think his friends kind of like, freaked out.
At first they were all liquored up, and egging him on. You know "Go get that dirty Texas fan, we're ready to rumble!" kind of mentality. Than the dude just rips the guys balls off. Think about the awkward couple of minutes that ensued. Like, "Steve... I mean, we were thinking a little beat down, maybe break a beer bottle over his head or something like that. But, uh, you ripped his balls off. Like, out of his body. That's not cool dude. How did you even think of doing that, like the original idea... how did you think to do that? Did you plan that out? Is this some sort of special move you've been saving up? Not cool at all, oh, and uh, you need to find a ride home."
wow, this one had me rolling at work.... that wording reminds me of something family guy would do..... thanks for the post my sides needed a good laughing pain |

And that's why I don't want to go up to Philly for the game next week. Apparently one of my friends might be able to get free tickets and he wants to go up there for it but I think I'd rather just watch it on TV. I go to enough football games that I don't feel like I need to risk life and limb (and balls) to see another one. |
Re: Fan is short for Fanatic!
The thing the bugs me is the way the thuggery of the Eagles fans gets treated by many in the press as though it were "local color" on the same level as gumbo in New Orleans or crab cakes in Baltimore. "Oh those Eagle fans, ha-ha!"
Chief Z, who underneath his headress and other acoutriment is an elderly black man, was beaten within an inch of his life up there by those criminals. And too many people seem to think that it's cute. |
