Am I missing something, it appears he would be coming here for tv only. Which of course all he is good for, football days are long gone for LA.
yeah... just for tv. I do think its sad that he cant get a job, but he's probably gonna take a year of like TKO did and then come back. He'll probably land with the eagles. I have nothing to base that on, other than its close, in the NFC E, and they could pick his brain for info (little do they know its already been picked clean HAHAHAHAHA) j/k... wasn't that funny... |

Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
If he want's to come back and do T.V then I'm all for it. I still like Lavar for the good years he gave us. I want to forget all the BS from both sides when he left. It's water under the bridge.

Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
From WP: Pierce said he has seen former Redskin star LaVar Arrington a few times since Arrington suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident this summer. "To look at him now, you wouldn't know who he is," Pierce said. "He's about 230, if that. He's in good spirits and wants to get his body healthy and get situated for next year." Many believed Arrington was going to retire before the accident, but Pierce said he thinks he will try to play again.
So who would he want to play for? You think the Skins would give him a second chance after the way he behaved with JG and Snyder? He's a malcontent, screw him!! I'll take Rocky over him anyday. |
Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
More importantly, the fact the LaVar simply can't stay in position and freelances far too much. That's how he might hurt this team.
I don't think he can ever play football again, and if he wants to move to TV, that will probably be the best move for him. He's an outgoing personality and is likable. |
Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
in the wash. post i read that Antonio Pierce saw him and didnt even recognize him. he said he was about 230, if that
Yeah I'd say were sitting pretty good at linebacker.
so what, putting him as a defensive end, he be slower as a LB, but as a end, he could come in and rush on 3rd downs, until he became a everydown player.... he made a mistake when he left but maybe the accident humbled him, i would to see what happens on some of your family's when you fuck up, im sure your entire family just dis owns you..........let him be |
Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
I am thrilled, I would be even more thrilled if he continues to rehab and is able to play for us again next season!!!!! That is truly the best news, I love Lavar!!!!!
Most of what he had to say took place during the time that Spurrier was coach and he had not received the bonus he was promised partially because his agents screwed up, and his sentiments plus injuries started to transfer to the new coaching staff, bottom line he felt like he was disinfranchized and that created the bad blood to begin with. I think we are all past that now and would welcome him back!!!!!
Could not say it any better myself. Love the #56 Blitz - does anyone even rememer that? |

This isn't a family, it's business. The personal touchy feely BS that people seem to have for LaVar is not going to win football games when the guy can't even stay healthy anymore. He's done, time to move on. |
Re: Lavar Arrington coming back to D.C.!!!
Was wondering just recently how long it would be before another LaVar sighting. I really see no purpose in Comcast scheduling a pre or post game interview with LaVar in the midst of A Redskins Giants game other than to stir. It should be obvious to them what an uneasy atmosphere that could be for all parties concerned, espically with a post game interview scheduled with Dan Snyder in the process. Poor choice of both time and place IMO.

I agree, I always liked LaVar as a person. He was always really nice to the fans and to me personally, so I have no qualms with him. |
