We need him in the running game to take some pressure off of JC. I don't think the season is a wash but things are definitely out of our hands at this point. We need to win and a few things need to happen. Let's just take this one game at a time and see how it ends up. If Gibbs really is going to retire at the end of this season, I'd like to send him off with a winning season. He DESERVES that!

I would think they would have him out there early to get us the lead then use him as needed. Whay bring him in if we are loosing?

He'll either play or he won't. I don't see the sense either in bringing him in later in the game.

If he can go, he will start and probably play the entire game.

Read the post again - I said I think he'll play more if we're winning & trying to run the ball in the 2nd half.

Maybe Matty's right, typically linemen are not subbed in for one another. This is a little different though in that he hasn't had much practice time. Then again, that goes for the whole team.

Great news!
This link says that Gibbs is quoted as saying Thomas will start. Surprised to see no mention of it in the wash post. Hope it's true & he's ready to pound some people.

Glad he's starting. Have we been able to verify if anyone else is coming back for tonight? I know it was stated in the opening post, but I haven't found any confirmation yet. I'd love to see big Mike back.
