Also, just a little FYI about my neighborhood. There are only seven people who live here, it's WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out in the county. The houses retail for $300,000 for the most expensive one and $192,000 for the least expensive one (my house).

It's not like we're in some high ass rent area. Not only that, I live on the publicly maintained road, while the rest of them live up on this hill that's not.

Sounds like they want you to help pay the cost for THEIR new roads. I'd right the guy back and tell him to Bite ME!

So basically the consensus is to take FRPLG's letter and send it on?

This association doesn't serve ANY purpose but to regulate what I do on my own property. I would be paying money basically to have rules enforced on me.

Yessir. From the sounds of things, they need your dues more than you need them. Unless you joined, became President, and wreaked anarchy on the others...then more power to you.
