This is obviously written by someone with less-then-adequate "skills".
I am. Anytime you have someone who can break out defibulator to jumpstart their wifes sexdrive, I would say that they have extraordinary skillz. |

Judging by what I'm reading I'm guessing allot of you married guys (and you wives) are younger then your mid to late thirties and you female partners haven't hit their sexual prime yet. My wife did in the last year (when she turned 38) and we have been married for 13 years up until then and let me tell you our sex life has hit levels I never imagined it would. Not that it wasn't any good before, but it got allot better, and much more frequent. (It helps if you’re really in love as well!)

Yeah that's true, from a hormonal perspective women tend to hit their stride sometime in their 30s. I wonder if that's an evolutionary thing; maybe women evolved to have a big sex drive around that time in order to get preggers and reproduce before menapause hits. But whatever, there's some medical evidence to back that up. It doesn't happen to every woman the exact same way or at the exact same time, but most women will see an uptick in sex drive sometime in their 30s. Tough thing is men tend to begin slowly losing testosterone levels at age 30. So a lot of the times men see a decline in sex drive. But if you stay in shape, specifically keeping your muscle mass up through your 30s, you'll likely stave off those effects. Hit the weights and then hit that! |
Man, so it really is true that when you get married, your sex life is over?
Not completely true, but is based in fact. My wife and I have more now than we did when we were 1 year into the marriage (will be 11 years of marriage in May). A lot of women use sex to attract and keep a man when dating, and want to turn it into marriage. Once they are married, the sex slows down because she acheived her goal of marriage. Not all have these issues, but most have some form. For instance my brother got regular "oral" when he was dating, as soon as they got married, it stopped completely. I do mean completely. It happens. Hopefully you marry someone that is understanding, and willing to please you even if it's not heated like it was when you first got married / dated. |

Good points. I didn't really think about the age. My wife is 34 and it's gotten better each year. |
