athletes play sports, I don't know what to classify golf as but JD sure as hell isn't an athlete.
Was John Kruk an athlete? Was David Wells? Was Gilbert Brown of the Packers?

Of course JD is an athlete. You don't have to be in shape to be an athlete.

Athlete: noun a person trained or gifted in exercises or contests involving physical agility, stamina, or strength; a participant in a sport, exercise, or game requiring physical skill.
We're talking about him, so his little stunt was a success.
This guy was never really any good, and yet we all know his name and his background. Sounds like his agent is a genius.
You don't win 2 majors when your not really any good. John has a ton of talent he just has not put it to good use. He lacks the mental part of the game but if you watch him play he has some of the best hands in golf. he is known for his long drives but he has a great short game. His biggest problem is when he makes a bad shot he does not know how to just bite the bullet and cut his losses. Instead he tries to hit that shot again or tries something stupid. His agent has never really had to market John just let John be John the redneck pro golfer.

I get that, as I said before I was just taking a shot at JD for being a fatass.

whats up with his ex, and Roger Clemens? is she even good looking? didnt know the rocket was a player. even if it involved a 15 year old. that's just down right wrong

Things keep going downhill for Clemens and I have to say I love it.

He's probably having the biggest Non-OJ fall from grace of any pro athlete I can remember.

Second to O.J., I don't know about that one Mike Vick comes to my mind as one of the biggest falls from grace in such a small period of time in history, how quickly he not only fell but went to prison.

The Rocket hasn't quite had the fall yet, but it surely appears to be full speed in the works.

Well said Schneed. I agree with you 100%. The guy has more talent then 99% of the world. Could you just imagine if he took his game seriously like Tiger? He would have been a legend. Just because someone is out of shape doesn’t mean there not coordinated or skilled enough to be considered an athlete. There are millions of skinny people out there that couldn't even jump a rope. Is someone more of an athlete because they might look the part more then someone like JD? I'll take the fat guy that can play on my team every time over some guy with a six pack that can't.

The current tally includes a 15 year old country singer, John Daly's ex, a real estate agent in Pennsylvania, and a bartender in Manhattan.
