Mine died once (Exchanged it same day since I bought an extended warranty through CompUSA) but supposedly that problems been fixed. I've actually seen a business in my area that fixes the ring of death for like 50-75 bucks depending on the location. From what I understand something gets too hot and comes un-soldered on the board.

Get a 360, mine died once too but it is so much more fun then PS3. I have PS3 and it sits in it's box. It's final mission will be to play MGS4 then it will be proudly displayed on eBay for the highest bidder.

Halo 3, COD 4, GOW, BioShock, and GOW 2 a lone should make you want this system. Plus I love Live much better then PS3 on-line.

I have the 360 and I definitely recommend it. However, be sure to buy a replacement plan just in case. The later models don't have the problems that the earlier ones did, but I wouldn't risk it.

Not sure if you will need 120GB but definitely go with the 20GB hard drive at the least. You'll need it in order to download demos and other content.

I think that's a pretty good deal, I would think.

I think people give PS3 a pretty bad wrap. MLB The Show, is a damn good game available only for the PS3, GTA is also far less likely to crash (apparently) on the PS3 v. 360.

If Madden is actually 60fps this year instead of 30fps, then I think the PS3 will be just as comparable to the 360.. Or at least slowly making some progress.

I haven't had GTA IV freeze on me one time on the 360. The online MP is definately a winner with the 360 as PS is light years behind.

If its about the movies, then go with the PS3! If its about the gaming, take the 360 with no questions asked! Just my opinion.

mmm 360, Xbox live sells it if the game dont (which they should becuase there are some good exclusives and ps3 really doesnt have any of those anymore). BTW for those of you that play live send me a friend request xHSx Goose. Im mostly CoD4 right now but between my brother and I we have a lot of popular titles to play. I am always looking for more people to play with and if they are skins fans thats a plus.

People who play cod4 on ps3 suck. I completely dominate almost every game on ps3, while on xbox im just avg...

Just get a 1080p upconverting DVD Player and get a 360. Save the Blu Ray until it comes down in price...especially if you don't have a HDTV, or if your HDTV is less than 50 inches...

Screw the next gen, kick it with a sega saturn
