For some reason I was not able to edit my recent post, as I wanted to edit the last part.. I did not mean that the guy said that drinking causes injuries.. I meant that the guy said that drinking might be one of the factors that causes injury.. And that is not true..

Lawrence Taylor, not LaDanian -- and yes, he took cocaine.. a lot. It's true that it isn't mandatory. However, there's a difference between working out in a different area rather than saying you'll be at camp and being too hungover to show up. I also think Moss has far more to prove than Springs at this point.

In 2005, both Springs and Moss were the standard at their own position. In 2006, they kept up the pace, but they were both banged up throughout the year. Moss obviously struggled a lot more than Springs did, but I wouldn't say he has more to prove than Springs does. For Moss, we can expect him to bounce back and for Springs, we just hope he can hold on one more season. |
