I recorded it too and will watch it later tonight. I heard it's some good stuff. With some directors from The Wire involved it's sure to be good. Any fans of The Wire out there?

I believe the same Wire directors are also involved in a post New Orleans Katrina series on HBO coming soon.

So, I had seen it about 3 times before the final season. I then proceeded to get hooked on the final 5 or so episodes of season 5. Since it ended I have bought the first 4 seasons and I'm a little bit into the 4th season. It is hands down my favorite show of all time. I'm going to buy season 5 the day it comes out (I should be done with the other 4) and watch the hell outta that too. I honestly don't know what I'll do when I finish them (maybe start over)

BTW, I just read about Felicia "Snoop" Pearson today...she wrote a book I'm going to have to buy. Suffice it to say, she used to basically be her character.

I just saw the first episode last night, and I caught about the last 15 minutes of the next episode tonight, I plan on watching it next time i see it on HBO. I definitely like it, and yes I agree the Godfather is a badass. It's definitely different from the stuff they feed us in the regular media, it actually shows how the soldiers feel and how down to earth they actually are.

I watch the second one last night it was good! Much better then the first EPS. I like when he told the reporter to roll over because the when the tank rolls by it feels great on your dick. So funny!

The guy that drives the humve is the best character.

2nd was WAY better than the first, and i liked the 1st episode quite a bit anyways.

i like the extra 4 minutes of comms they throw in at the end for no good reason too. It's actually realistic comm talk.

Episode 2 was great. Much better than the first.

Does anyone know how many episodes there are going to be?

The show is pretty humorous as long as you know that it's a complete farce. A friend of mine in the Marine Corps got back from his second tour in Iraq and said the show is an absolute joke if it's attempting to portray reality over there.

According to him, "Generation Kill" has about as much to do with the real war as Star Wars has to do with legitimate space travel.

I'm really disappointed, my dad cut off Cinemax and HBO from our DTV bill this month cuz he said he's tired of seeing the same old movies on there lol. No more Generation Kill for me, oh well.
