Re: Young QB in the NFL
Hey BC, you might want to change your avatar to a more blue and grey one ;).
I think Vince Young is debatable. The young man wins games but he's also a liability in the passing department, and now that his mental health is also in question it would be a tough one. In the end I think the decision comes down to what somebody would rather have: A really good quarterback, or a really bad passing quarterback that can make running plays and is also more of a winner. Oh yeah and since I know you are going to read this and think that I am saying Jason Campbell is a really good quarterback, I'm not. Just an fyi.
AHHHHHHHHHH...:pi_lightb...I rarely post here since it changed ...Didn't even notice it AHHHHHHHHH |
Re: Young QB in the NFL
Aaron Rogers far and away. The way he's handled the pressures so far of being the man to follow the legend immediately rates him over Vince "stop picking on me" Young or Matt "I'd rather be hot tubbing" Leinhart. I don't think Orton or Anderson will have long sustained careers but both can be really good journeymen much like Trent Dilfer.
I think JC could have been just as good as Rogers but he didn't have the luxury to sit behind a legend and learn and watch. Instead he backed up a qb the fan base hated and they called for him constantly and stunted his growth by throwing him in too early. Right now Aaron Rogers is the only one on that list I'd rather have. Though in time Russell, Quinn, Cutler, Edwards, Flaco and Ryan might be franchise QB's too. |

I like quinn, i think he will wind up somewhere as a grat qb...if anderson has a decent year look for him to demand a trade
