Idk bro, we've gone 4/5 wide with success with: Moss, ARE, DT11, Cooley and Thrash/Kelly/Portis/Betts

but IMO Zorn doesn' do it often

I agree. More important to me that we build this team and get it ready [B]now[/B] to be contenders for years to come than to retard the growth of our team just to get in the playoffs and be eliminated early.

Those passes tend to be incomplete where our passes short of the marker tend to be complete, though we get tackled like a yard short.

I'd like to see us scrap the sticks throw on third down. Either go further down the field, or run and try to get the first.

Second down is when this offense should be throwing at the sticks, because catching the ball a yard or two short of it on third down is still a successful play by definition. On third, the same play is unsuccessful.

Just as frustrated as you are, but see it as a minor tweak rather than an offensive overhaul.

The combination of Stephon Heyer/Jason Fabini and the Bengals anemic pass rush the Skins should result in much better pass-pro.
Hopefully, the improved pass-pro will allow JZ/JC to look further downfield and get the passing game going.
If we can't get the passing game going against the Bengals then i doubt it will show up against the Eagles.

This game is where the passing attack gets its swagger back

I could not agree more. There is no way we are a legit contender this year. Let's use this time to get a jump on next season. Who knows what we might uncover in the prosses.

That's where all our problems should get addressed. If we can protect JC, then everything else will fall into place.

All season i couldn't decide if the lack of downfield passing was more the offensive line or playcalling/Campbell.

Now i have my answer.

It looks like Zorn/JC are content to throw 6-8 yard passes.:rofl:
