Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
Tom Waddle on NFLN just said that Dallas had the least impressive draft. I hope he's right!

Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
Philly, hands down. Trading for Jason Peters was huge.

Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
The 49ers didnt do so bad also. The best has to be Philly with the picks and trades. BUt dont underestimate the Patriots...They had tons of 2nd and third round picks. Patrick Chung is a great addition.

I'll take it. |

Dallas did draft a kicker, after all, despite having a young Pro Bowler in Nick Folk. |
Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
As dysfunctional as our FO seems at times, Al Davis should have all power stripped away from him.
And Jera Jones is the best comic relief in football. Seeing the "War Room" with Wade in that yellow shirt on day one looking like big bird. Then they spend day two picking guys who were not on anyone's board and pick a power lifting place kicker in the 5th round when they already have one of the best kickers in the league. Does anyone know if M. Brown was behind the Chase Daniel and Williams signings? Maybe Snyder will wake up and let him actually run the team one day. Apparently, our practice squad was the envy of the league! lol |

Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
i like denver's draft. rb carousel aside, knownshon can play right away. ayers and smith are solid, too.

Re: Around The League: Whose Draft Was Most Impressive?
I gotta throw the Dolphins in the discussion. Vontae Davis, Patrick Turner opposite Ted Ginn Jr, and Pat White is going to be sick when teamed up with Brown/Williams/Pettington in the backfield in the Wildcat formation.
But overall as much as I hate saying it, my nod goes to the Eagles. An already proven probowl LT in Peters, a possible stud wr in Macklin to go with Jackson, LeSean McCoy, Cornelius Ingram, and Nic "Macho" Harris is an absolutely nasty group of fresh new blood. |

McNabb openly asked for more weapons. The team then goes and gets a pro-bowl LT, another playmaking WR/return guy in Maclin to go with Curtis, Brown, and Jackson; Ingram is a freak, and Macho Harris is nasty. Plus they gave up 2 5ths to land a starting caliber CB in Hobbs. They now go 4 deep at WR, 2 nice TE's, great return guys, and two home run hitters at RB with McCoy and Westbrook. Did I mention their D was 3rd overall last year? They're loaded and the team to beat in the division IMO. |

Not 100% sure how these things work, but we actually had a deal in place with him before the draft even ended. |

In the 4 way interview with Snyder/Cerrato/Zorn/Doc Walker the other day, Zorn said he wants to grab a new QB every year. Draft or UDFA, as long as he's our coach, I think we can expect this sort of thing. |
