I tried to look him up but there really isn't a lot of info on him. :Smoker: |
Re: Skins sign WR Trent Shelton to 3 year deal
Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzz...doesn't it make you want to kick something when every year at the beginning of mini-camp or OTAs or whatever damn near the entire WR corp is already gimpy? Seriously, don't hear about other teams experiencing this. Moss can't do shit cuz of shin-splints. Kelly has the worst knees in North America. Devin has already pulled his hamstring. This leaves ARL dancing around and bunch of new fish, who never seem to get hurt btw. I think the only WRs of the past few years to get through a season healthy we're the 49 yr old McCardell and Reche (Buggie) Caldwell. Bizarre...just bizarre.
We're not talking about serious injuries, nothing to get alarmed about. It's May, relax. |

Nothing like freaking out at the end of our first minicamp.. Calm down JLC, the season is 5 months away. |
Re: Skins sign WR Trent Shelton to 3 year deal
Well i wouldn't downplay the situation either guys. The most critical thing for WR and his QB is developing that chemistry/timing. Now we know JC is working on a new shorter, quicker throwing motion. I'm sure DT has gotten time in w/ JC cuz he stayed at the park and worked all off-season - haven't heard this about the other guys. It's important our WR corp gets more crisp in it's work...

Re: Skins sign WR Trent Shelton to 3 year deal
If only hamstrings were like tonsils and you can just take em out. Seems like their more trouble then good :(.

Re: Skins sign WR Trent Shelton to 3 year deal
WTF? Our entire receiving corp is hobbling?

sums things up pretty well doesn't it |
Re: Skins sign WR Trent Shelton to 3 year deal
The reason they signed him to a three year deal is because he let them. The longer the minimun contract the better for the Redskins. If he pans out he will be under contract for two more years if he does not they cut him with no cap hit
