Re: If you could go back in time..............
Great list...
I'll add: Pearl Jam mid 90's Van Halen (David Lee Roth era...saw sammy) Kiss (before they started drinking ensure) AC/DC (with Bon Scott) AC/DC (after the release of Back in Black with Brian Johnson) The Who
Kiss was my first concert back in their day. I also saw Stevie Ray Vaughan right when his first album came out in a little place that held around 1,000 if that. I had no clue who he was as a buddy wanted to go and 2 or 3 months latter I could brag that I saw him at the boat house right before he hit it big. Like Too See Jimi Hendrix The Doors |
The Beatles at the Reeperbahn (either the Kaiserkellar or the Star Club)
Bob Marley The mid-60's Who Robert Johnson
Good call. I'm no blues expert, but have been a big fan for many years, and I'd add Muddy Waters somewhere in Chicago in the 1960s and Lightin' Hopkins somewhere in Houston or other Texas location in the 1960s to a list right behind Robert Johnson. Also, I would have liked to see a mid-70s Kiss show (c'mon, it would have been fun), and early 70s Stones. |

As much as I'd like to see many of the music venues that so many have posted about, I'd rather see a Roman Gladiator fight in the Colosseum. Now that's entertainment.
