i have said this before. but... how can anyone take the comedian Beck seriously?
You're not worth listening to, that's why. Beck was a disk jockey not a comedian. Al Franken was a comedy writer.
How can you dismiss people saying these things in there own words ?? These are The administration officials in there own words " we < the white house > , have the right to dismantle capitalism " , we can and should " dismantle the press , like Fox news " and that Mao Tse Tung is a great philosopher ... he killed 50 million people ? Watch the video , Obama said on the campaign " judge me by who I surround myself with " .
You are a serious spacebar advocate eh?

I mean, I see what some people are saying. But Capitalism as we know it is not what made America successful, slavery did. We "adjusted" the capitlaist model so it would be sucessful here. If you do not have to pay your workers then that is not capitalism that is something else. So capiltalism is not what this country was built on. You have to be careful here, you can't just follow blind rhetoric. You could misjudge the future by revising the past. This country has yet to prove it can suceed whithout an under class of citizens who have been disenfrachised. I couldn't imagine living in the Jim Crow South paying taxes and not receiving services like police protection. My taxes paying for the white school children to recieve modern text books and my children learning form 20 year old text books.

So you're saying slavery had more to do with America's economic success than the Industrial Revolution?

Bullshit, everyone knows that Hollywood made Americuh what it is. Aside from military might it is the only thing that we've got that is better than the rest of the world. Our GNP is entertainment. :cool-smil

The Jim Crow system existed in every state of the Union. Get a real estate license and find out for yourself. Some of those laws are still on the books "in California".

Hope you spend the time to teach your kids , they will learn much more valuable things from their parents than text books . Nobody succeeds in a Marxist / communist Government ... nobody .

No freedom of speech to be found here. Free speech if you agree with the Politburo, if not, none.
