Very funny. What got under Coach Gibb's skin more than the Dallas game, was the warning he received from the Cleveland stadium office during halftime concerning the communication equipment. His argument was they warned him, but didn't fix it until late in the fourth. We led at the half 10-3. The rules state that the game cannot be stopped to fix equipment between a coach and the QB. However, Gibbs argued he couldn't communicate with his staff up in the booth. Take it for what it's worth, but Cleveland has a system in place to prevent losses at home.

1st of all where is this stated in the rule book? Oh I forgot you are a expert in football knowledge.

2nd, we lost the game in Cleveland because of our inept special teams play and the failure of our offense to move the ball. Blaming it on equipment is a poor arguement for a poorly played game. I guess the system didn't work to well this weekend when the Eagles barely won, but they won.

Obviously, you don't, but if you had you would have heard Gibbs state the rules and why the equipment should have been fixed in order for him to communicate with his coaching staff in the booth. With Gibbs bringing to the forefront it exposes the problem. The knowledgable one has spoken.

No, Smoot I wasn't looking at the spokesman writings at all. I actually remembered the press conference when Gibbs explained the rules.

CRT, little too snippy, that was a big deal made on all the reskins postgame crap, and i heard the same explanations that SUNRA did, he's more or less right about those rules...

I heard the post game stuff, but where does it state it in the rules. If Coach to booth is not working they are supposed to cease all comunication on both sides, but Coach to QB there is no rule. He had both problems on two series. I am just asking where are you getting your rule info from because I cna not find it online. THE EXACT RULES NOT A STATEMENT BY A COACH.

I am making a issue of this because Sunra keeps on claimming great knowledge over football and that some of us lack his ability. I am trying to talk about facts not falsehoods.

Yes, I remember the NFL did apologize for those two bad calls. But, I also remember that the referees failed to call a penalty when Roy Williams headbutted Rod Gardner on the last play, which would have given us potential game-winning field goal position. I read the Skins were going to file a complaint, but didn't find out the outcome. Does anyone know what happened? I remember RW getting find for headbutting Coles that same game - but didn't hear anything about the Gardner hit.
