Beggs!

Yo Dog! I was pulling for your Monmouth team last night! I figured they would win from what little I did see during the first half. Small gym. But I'd accept a scolarship any day to play out my eligibility. At age 52, I've only lost 1/2" off of my 1" vertical, and I can still out run my four year old granddaughter! Puff Puff, I have to take a nap now...........................
I appreciate the support...maybe they'll suit you up for the opening round game...God knows they will need the help....

beg8878 03-11-2004 04:56 PM

Anyone know where I can find the sites for the opening round games?

SmootSmack 03-11-2004 05:11 PM

beg, this doesn't give the exact locations but it might help

I'll see if I can find something better

thanks Smooty.....that is perfect, just wanted to see if there was any chance of catching a first round game in my area.

Did anyone just watch that maryland game, because it was awesome they came back from a 19 points down to winning by 3

Bring on Mississippi St......

johnnyredskin63 03-15-2004 05:06 AM

maryland surprised the heck out of me in the acc tournament this year.watch out for them in the big 64,they may win it all again.who knows?

redskins56 03-15-2004 04:54 PM

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up..If I do good in this pick'em, IT'S PURE LUCK!!! ..I dont watch any basketball..

Syracuse , Mfer's. I think they could get to the Sweet 16, but no farther than that. I think the title is unforunatley running through Cameron this year. I do like Kyzkefski( however the hell you spell his name ) though.

SU has a tough road no doubt.

The Big East will be strong though, I can see both Pitt and UConn going a long way.

Gmanc711 03-17-2004 11:19 AM

I have them in my final four, Pitt in the title game. Seton Hall could have a good tourney, so could providence. My hopes are w/ the Cuse though

beg8878 03-17-2004 11:30 AM

I worry about Pitt trying to get past Wisconsin. That 2nd round game is played in Milwaukee. I have them bowing out then, if they were playing in any other bracket I'd have them at least to the elite 8

Same here, redskins56! I used to watch basketball pretty avidly when I was in high school and college, but I just kind of lost interest in the games after a while. But even when I was watching basketball closely, it didn't seem to help me with my tourney picks. I figured this year, my basketball knowledge has dissipated to the point where I'll probably have some success with the picks-- you know, kind of like that chick in your office pool who makes her picks based on the aesthetics of the team uniforms, and still manages to win the whole damn thing!

Go "Redskins Rebound"!

Gmanc711 03-17-2004 03:34 PM

If you put Dick Vitale into our pick em group, theres a very good chance he would be in the midlde of the bunch, knowledge dosent mean anything for any of these games.

Gmanc711 03-18-2004 10:58 PM

How bout Gerry friggin McNamera. 43 pts, are you freakin serious. Here's too Syracuse beating Maryland Saturday!
