I'm sure people would take hawaii over london any day though.. not to mention it's still domestic, guys don't have to do as much travel-wise to prepare for it.. oh and the weather and relaxation are great after a long hard season that ends in winter.. who wants to play in rain when it's absolutely brutal outside in europe or something?

the pro bowl has turned into a joke it is just like the nba all star game/dunk contest, it used to mean something now it is just a popularity contest and with it being open to fan voting just demeans it further, it should be left to the writers, i have more respect for players that make the all pro team than i do for any of the over hyped guys that make the probowl

Just keep it in Hawaii the week after the SB. The game is more about the players anyway, the fans are just never going to care no matter how hard the league tries.

I watched about 30 minutes of it. Just watch the lines during a play, they barely even touch each other! They just stand up out of their stance and play patty cakes.

Was there even a sack recorded?

The "effort" on D is always a joke. They might as well just take the pads off and play flag football.

Don't think any coaches would go for having their star players missing a week of camp & valuable prep. time to go to the pro bowl.

Plus it would just be weird since a bunch of guys would be on other teams, so would they wear their old helmet or their current one?

I haven't watched the Pro Bowl in years, the only thing I use to kind of enjoy were the challenges like the QB and WR challenges, even then most of them didn't really try but I still enjoyed it more than the actual game. Do they even do any of those challenges or drills anymore?

Wouldn't it be really weird if a player was released by the team that offseason. Not at all unrealistic given that many players are 2nd or 3rd alternates.

I guess in that case a player could wear an NFL logo helmet!

why was Vince Young there? I guess becasue everyone dropped out but in no way did he deserve a Pro Bowl selection this year.

that is the other BS part about it the big names drop out so guys like Young get a sympathy selection. I believe Gus got in this way too back in the day.

Except for Fletcher. He was all over the place. I was surprised to see him and Orakpo starting the game, but on that opening drive, Fletch made tackles on 3 consecutive plays. Probably though, because you're right and the other 10 guys on the D weren't trying.


It was nice to see Mario Williams crush Romo though. :)
