I hate people at the grocery store that race around corners with their carts like the Indy 500. Seems like I almost get mowed down every time I go to the store.

That's your solution right there. Unless you're elderly, a female, or a young child, you're gonna hear it (or feel it) from me. People are so clueless and lack etiquette to the point it makes me want to scream. If that makes me an asshole, so be it. Some guy was walking down the narrow sidewalk (only enough width for one person) towards me yesterday during the storm, and he literally didn't break stride and just expected me to step aside into a few feet of snow to make room for him. I didn't budge and he walked into me to the point that his nose was basically in my chest. He gave me this incredulous look and said "EXCUSE me!" I laughed and said "yeah, excuse you is right." He called me a jerk, I called him an entitled piss ant, and we went our separate ways. WTF dude. I'll break your face.

Just a few minutes afterward, another guy comes walking my way, we made eye contact about 10 feet from each other, and we both turned sideways and side stepped by each other politely and exchanged a smile. Now that's what I'm talking about.

hahah I hate this too.. I used to do the whole step to the side thing but fuck that nowadays.. I'll walk right into you, but not before I've been staring at you the whole time for not moving over.. usually the stare or funny look is enough to make them go single file, but the shoulder check is there just in case.. I also do this to people trying to cut through bathroom lines at FedEx or whatever other venue

Oh god.. yeah or when they even fucking see you.. and still don't move.. I've gotten into the habit of moving people's carts for them without saying anything, as long as they don't have their hands on the cart

My duaghter loves those race car carts. They are not any wider just a little longer so they should not block the aisle. We race around some but it not when we are around people so its no big deal. If you think your going to stop your child from riding in one you might as well forget that now because its not worth the fight and whats the big deal.

I'm with SS. I hate the stoppers. They stop everywhere. At the bottom and tops of escalators. Right past doorways. Just about any confined place where everyone else has to get through. They are totally f***ing oblivious. Move you asswipes!. Take your cart or kid or whatever and get off to the the side out of everyone's way. What the hell is wrong with you people?

This is an awsome thread!!! Seriously I hate it at wal-mart when the stoppers just stop and the end of an aisle and talk with their friends or who ever. Then when you go to go around them and do the polite thing and say "Excuse me." They look at you as if to say, "You have some nerve to try to shop while I must have this important conversation about nothing in the middle of Wal-Mart."

I try to teach my children to be considerate of others but sometimes I think whats the use, just for them to get treated like shit by someone that thinks the world owes them something...

I know what you mean but when you live in such a secluded area walmart is all that we have to choose from. We have a small chain grocery store but unfortunately Walmart prices force me to shop there...

It sucks when you live in the middle of BFE...
