they were given more then enough chances to come out. our society is a lot safer without him
That doesn't make killing 81 women and children right . Waterboarding a few terrorist is torture , but killing American women & children are ok ?? The Feds could have taken Koresh at anytime as they knew his travel . We would all be safer without William Ayers , would it be ok if the Feds bombed the University he preaches at ? Not that I think you think that way , just making the point = the feds should have grabbed/killed DK , not the people that bought into him .

I just don't get when the cops want someone its always knocking in their door and not just nabbing them off the street. We had a cop killed here last year kicking in some guys door who house had been broken into several night before. He got freaked out and shot through the door killing the cop. This kid was some small time pot pusher who had a day job but they wait until late night to go kicking in his door. Why not just wait for him to come out of work and get him when he goes to his car? A jury was easy on him because of this and he only got 10 years. |

Maybe sometimes they almost have to grab them asap ? As far as Koresh , The FBI had gotten into the " cult " and knew his schedule , and could have grabbed him alone at anytime , twice a week . |
Re: Domestic Terrorists? You Decide!
This whole thing stinks of a smear job to me. My gut tells me that they put in an agent provocateur to get these yokkles over the line. These dumb asses waranted helicopters and body armor, yet Jamad Al-Fuqra recruits fellons and trains with weapons? I haven't heard about any of their mosques being closed down. Remember the Snipers? They actually killed people.
It's easy to convince a bunch of rednecks to make bombs. Most of the ones I know learned how to make pipe-bombs in high school. This is smear job if you ask me. These guys are a bunch of DA patsies that took the fall for a Federal objective, to label all militia members as cop killers in the minds of law enforcement. Yeah they have plenty of resources for a few rednecks but when it comes to Mexicans smuggling black tar heroin over the border, well . . . yeah right. I know what's up. |
Re: Domestic Terrorists? You Decide!
Oh yeah, what about this BS that they were going to use WMDs on the cops? Get the eff out of here.

Does that include the US government? |

I wouldn't trade my freedom for safety. You feel good about kids getting cooked? That makes you feel safe? Who gives a damn about Koresh? I'm talking about the people the US Gov got killed, including their own. Does it make you feel safe that cops are using military hardware now? Since when do cops start wearing kevlar? SWAT looking for a Meth lab with a warrant from a Federal judge, yeah I get that. Locking up a bunch of dumb ass hillbillies? WMD on cops, BS! Donut flavoured Sarin gas? :bs: How you have any faith in these people is beyond me? They'd eff up a wet dream. |
Re: Domestic Terrorists? You Decide!
Barricaded in their building, seventy-six Branch Davidians, including Koresh, did not survive the fire. Seventeen of these victims were children under the age of 17. The Danforth Report claims that those who died were unable, or unwilling, to flee and that Steve Schneider, Koresh's right-hand man, probably shot Koresh and killed himself with the same gun. Waco: The Rules of Engagement claims that FBI sharpshooters fired on, and killed, many Branch Davidians who attempted to flee the flames. Testimony by the few Branch Davidians who did successfully flee the fire supports this claim. Autopsy records indicate that at least 20 Branch Davidians were shot, including 5 children. The Danforth Report concluded that the adults who died of gunshot wounds shot themselves after shooting the children.
as far as wearing Kevlar, do you remember the big shootout in downtown L.A a couple of years ago? i do not think that kids needed to die that day. but i do think Koresh was certifiably insane. he wasn't going peacefully |
Re: Domestic Terrorists? You Decide!
The FBI had two agents that were in the compound , posing as members . The feds knew when Koresh went into town/bank ... they never had a reason to use tanks and shart shooters . The " home " was far from any town , they were isolated from the public , so " we " were not in danger from them . That deal was more about " the gov't will show you " than about protecting the people . Amazing how that admin. refused our troops in Somalia tanks / Armour P.C.'s , but gave the OK to J. Reno to use tanks against US citizens ... just saying .

That would pretty much encompass parents all over the world. |

You can absolve the Gov of this if you want. They have blood on their hands IMO. |
