Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
is there a quality qb to throw to marshal in miami
Henne looked alright playing with garbage WRs. He'll look a hell of a lot better, now. He probably becomes a borderline starting fantasy QB. |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Sure seems like Denver could throw a couple of picks our way!
Kudos to Schefter again for breaking the news, he tweeted at 3am about keeping coaches hours, and certainly seems like he is the source for anything and everything going down in the NFL. (no offense to you SS)
None taken. Schefter's fantastic at his job. I'd like to think I'm pretty good at my job too...which isn't breaking NFL news |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
BLOWN.....shitty way to start the morning.....I REALLY wanted us to land Marshall. Oh well, we didnt have the ammo I guess. We still need another WR to replace Randel El. Hope we go after T.O.

Now that's what I am talkin about! :food-smil |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Good deal for both teams, and at least it doesn't involve any NFC East rivals. Dolphins may deal Ginn now, and Denver probably picks up a Wr in the 2nd round. Good draft for receivers.
Seriously, Adam Schefter is kicking Glazer, Mort, King and the NFL networks tail. Is anybody else even trying? |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
If I'm correct didn't Parcells bring TO to Dallas so he does make these type trades.
That was a Jerry Jones move. Parcells didn't want him. |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Where is Backupliquoredup Kicker? I thought he had the scoop on this!??!

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
No surprise here. Miami had been mentioned a few times. 2 2nd rounders is a steep price IMO but this gives Miami much needed firepower for Henne.
I don't see it as very steep personally. |

me neither. we spent two second rounders on two WRs hoping one of them would pan out. WR is a very hard position to draft. its certainly worth two 2nd rounders, especially when one of them is in 2010, making it valued as a 2010 3rd. |
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Denver and Pittsburgh will be competing for the Dez Bryant, Golden Tate picks in the draft.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
All this talk about Marshal I would like to see what Marko Mitchel could do after the new offseason conditioning program and coaching from McCardell. If given the chance he has shown that he has the skills to produce in this league
|
Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
Great move for the dolphins now they have a great 1, 2, 3 receiver combo with Marshall, Bess, and Hartline. I'm not counting on Ginn cause he's a bust, receiver wise.

Re: Report: Brandon Marshall to the Dolphins
^ Agreed about our Mitchell. I think he'll end up playing a nice roll this year. We need to prepare for the future without Moss. Sure, use him while he's still here, but get Marko and Malcolm ready to step in.
I could honestly see Marko becoming more productive than Malcolm Kelly longterm. |

How is a 2010 2nd valued as a 2010 3rd? |
