While I am not opposed to this idea and would gladly pay any reasonable fee, I am not sure that I would have paid for initial access.

If you end up going with this, you may want to give them a free number of posts (25-50) to give them a chance to get to know and love us.

Once their hooked - THEN stick'em. (Hey, it works for D. Snyder!).

I wasn't really serious about charging, I don't want to go that route.

I'd much rather take voluntary donations.

The only way I would charge is for some sort of "premium content", which could happen if we move to a dedicated server. Perhaps video clips, and maybe even charge a bit for the camp reports. Who knows, all of that is up in there air right now.

It would be a stupid idea to force people to pay. They would just go to another one of the thousand Skins forums on the net.
