I see no reason he couldn't wear #56. We have not had a good player wear it since Len Haus. It's overdue for some time in the spotlight.

I agree, Im no talent scout, but the word is that Bruce is garbage. I want o-linemen like everyone else, but I dont want to go out picking up bums. We were very thin at the LB position before the 3-4 conversion. We are still thin at the LB position. Im not mad at this pick.

Lol, word is that the Raidahs are going to try him at RG and RT while Veldheer is their LT. That 4.8 40 time ain't gonna help him against Ware. Atheticism isn't everything. Technique is a huge part of making a successful block.

A 4th rd pick on BC is a steal with the right coaching he will produce i would've liked him but i'm glad we gos Caspers he'll be good with the right coaching, talent can only take you so far there has to be good coaching & the will to be great.

Yes, Bruce Campbell could be a bust. BUT, some ppl predicted to go in the 1st round.

SO:
- Bruce Campbell - predicted first --> fourth
- Capers/Cook -- predicted third-fifth --> seventh

Without viewing all their tape/etc, it would seem that even if Bruce Campbell busts, he would probably still be better than Capers/Cook, right? I mean, it would seem his likelihood of "busting" may be high - but still lower than Capers/Cook. It's hard to believe the "pundits" get the grades mixed up by four rounds.. At most a RT, at least a RG. AND who knows, the TWO seventh rounders MAY have even been available undrafted.

Another way to put it -- [B][U]he MAY bust, but he is still a good VALUE in the 4th[/U][/B] - where you quickly forget busts, but you are very happy if they succeed.

Actually, some people predicted that the Raiders would be mesmerized by Campbell's freak athletic ability and take him in the first round. It was more a knock on the Raiders than any affirmation of Bruce Campbell. No one thought he was worth a first round pick
