Obviously you guys aren’t golfers. Have you ever watched the Big Lebowski? |
Re: Pinneapple Jesus vs. the new qb's brought in
We can only pray McNabb makes it through the season, though someone wrote in another thread Bartel is capable of being the starter. lol
Grossman, like Brennan hasn't found any love and Kiper says Clark may develop into a third stringer (I don't know how a QB can develop into a 3rd stringer)....3rd string is hardly in the league for a QB. At the moment it would appear to be McNabb all alone unless one of these guys can energe from under the bus. |
My bad, I meant 8 yr olds.:drink
thanks for the correction. And I still say that Wade Phillips is the twin of The Jesus's partner Liam.
Oh second thought - Liam looks more like the love child from a Wade Phillips/Andy Reid unholy relationship. |
Re: Pinneapple Jesus vs. the new qb's brought in
I would love to see Colt become the starting qb & be as good in reg. season games as he was in the preseason two years ago. I'm not saying it's anything approaching realistic, just saying I'd like to see him become our qb of the future.
In the meantime, I'd love to see him make the team. |
Re: Pinneapple Jesus vs. the new qb's brought in
I may be new to the Warpath, but I have no idea what you guys are talking about. Anyway.
I would love if Colt became an awesome QB for us and beat Grossman out. I would also love if Grossman somehow became an amazing QB for us. Heck, if McNabb can improve and play another 15 years I'd be happy. Ain't none of it going to happen. |

With JC gone, I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Colt just so we can stop talking about him.
Once Colt is gone, I have a feeling the boards will be jammed with "McNabb is a bust bring on Sexy Rexy" or "McNabb should love us more that Philly because we care threads." |

lmao it was "8 year olds dude" but LOVE the reference haha |
Re: Pinneapple Jesus vs. the new qb's brought in
Bartel would have led us to the Super Bowl last year if only he had a chance.
Colt is 26
Ok...born 8/16/83. So he is 26 now and 27 when the season starts. So in my theory he would be 30 in 2014 (not 31) when we may think about replacing McNabb. I guess my main point is that if we are going to bother grooming someone he should be 22 not 27. A player Colt's age should already be at least a #2 QB. I think if he is not good enough to beat out Grossman this summer then we should move on. |

When you have to explain a joke it is nolonger funny. :( |
Re: Pinneapple Jesus vs. the new qb's brought in
Colt is like 28 years old at this point. Is he even worth grooming anymore. If McNabb has 3 good years left do we really want to turn things over in 2014 to a 31 year old QB that has never taken meaningful snaps? I think the ships sunk...
That's not to say I am all that excited about his competition either...maybe we keep only 2 QB's.
Why the hell does someone bring up Brennan? Odds are Bruce and Mike are going to get their franchise guy next draft or in '12. Brennan was exposed in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia(a real team from a real conference) and got toasted. After that nobody even bothered with the guy. We drafted him for depth and being a possible diamond in the rough. IF Chase Daniel was a few inches taller, Brennan would have been the one let go. JC was average at best, and hindsight being 20/20 Gibbs thought he was going to be a steal also. But in reality, his success his senior year was indeed more to do with that phenomenal backfield he had. Mr Pineapple had a good team around him playing some rather weak opponents. Bottom line is Brennan will be #3 here til he gets released. |
