Chargers should keep Brees no matter what and get rid of Rivers when given the chance. Look at what Ryan Leaf did to them. While River may not be the next Ryan Leaf you just dont know how you will do drafting a QB. We speak that from experience ala Heath Schuler.
Eli is a puss? Please. I really don't want to have to face him for the next 15 years. He's a great QB.
You can say BIG BEN BIG BEN. Why didn't he get choosen first? He didn't play the level ball these guys did. Miami of Ohio - the football juggernaught. Who's to say Manning won't crush anything Roethlisburger does? Roeth has a great defense backing him up (#2 in the leage), a good running game, a great back, solid line, and in my opinion, the best receiving core in football. Not many rookie QBs get to walk into a situation as favorable as that. Im not saying Ben doesn't have talent. He's a great QB, but he has a lot of things moving in his direction.
While I agree with much of what you said I don't think the fact that he went to Miami of Ohio should be held against him (by the way is Miami of Ohio still the Redskins?) Anyway, look at Culpepper, McNair, Leftwich, Pennington, they didn't go to top schools by football standards |
Marshall is a pretty damn good football school, smootsmack. Mewelde Moore, Randy Moss, Pennington, Leftwich.
Culpeper went to lower southeast redneck state, he's right. Still, most of the time, big players DO NOT come out of small schools. |
