Honestly though it's hard to give either admin much credit on the situation. When someone inherits the "cleanup effort" it's hard to blame them more though. What makes me wonder is why neither admin really committed what they said it would take. Maybe they knew something that's just not coming to light for us common folk.[/quote]

Obama said he would pull out of Iraq and ramp up efforts in Afghanistan so this is no cleanup effort. He ran on that so Af. is his don't push this over on Bush. Again.

Somebody got a woody for them. That's all they talk about. Afghanistan and Iraq makes attacking Iran impossible. Obama in a hurry to get out of these conflicts for only one reason. Bush missed the real target cause 9-11 made us throw startegy out the window. those older civilizations with all this depp history, they know how to defeat an invasion. Flying around toy planes ain't getting the job done.

Bush neglected Afghanistan, it is his. It is the real war he forgot. He lost Iraq (we paying the insurgents not to shoot) and Afghanistan. T - 6 months til the CNN pictures of Taliban shotting in the air in celbration. T - 3 months before somebody makea a Karzai kibob.

Before bush: Hip hop wa sin classic mode, the economy was booming. We were at relative peace, we had a budget surplus. Then all of a sudden one nut stained dress changed our fate. Now we have two wars, and a super deficit. You tell me?

1995 - Attempted crashing of plane on White House
1995 - Oklahoma City bombing
1996 - Khobar Towers bombing - Saudi Arabia
1998 - U.S. Embassy bombings Kenya/Tanzania
2000 - USS Cole Bombing - Yemen

Dont forget prices at the pump didnt even keep up with inflation prior to his tenure. Then we saw record high prices in Bush's final years.

Im gonna go with Carter before him.

Ok I'll make this easy. We had troops in Afghanisatan and Obama had the choice to pull them out or continue the war. He chose to stay and even bring in another 30,000 troops so now this is Obamas war. When you get to Iraq he said he would pull out the troops like he is somewhat doing so thats not his deal but AF. is and there is no way around that.

Lol. Those events were attacks BY us, not ON us. They were created by Americans.

Afghanistan would have been over if Bush had not attacked Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11, instead, thus diluting forces.

Can his ass big time. Even if he is "right" he still forgot one rule. We all work for someone. And you better not undermine them. If he is so disillusioned then quit/retire and go a on a speaking tour about what a bunch of clowns they are or shut your pie hole in public and make your arguments to their faces. Don't go sandbagging them in public. Have some respect. You think a military man would understand chain of command a little better.
