Well..good news to those who wanted WR T. Austin.
He will be on the practice squad according to 106.7
and a tweet by Rich Campbell.

So apparently,he's already been released and cleared waivers.

That's not exactly 'good news'. That means he's not on the final 53. The fact that he's still in the organization is good but another team can pluck him off of our PS without us being able to do anything about it so it's a risk. I think that bodes well for Banks and may mean another WR is on the way (Housh/VJ).

Torain still has to clear waiver 1st...but the plan is for him to practice squad...

Thomas is solid in the return game and therefore high risk-reward Banks is not needed. My 4 players are Capers, K. Williams, Austin, and Henson.

Actually before he is signed off the practice squad we actually have the chance to retain him and put him on our 53man roster from what I remember of the PS rules.

True.. However, if we do that means he has to be on our active roster for the remainder of the regular season so we have to make that decision if pressed.

At least it gives us some level of protection against losing the guy all together.
