Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
I really need to go back and watch.. in some spots you want him getting penetration.. in others you want him just staying at his gap

Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
There's only 1 way you solve this fiasco...
Win! Do that and all this goes away.... As far as fat Al...You have to play him... The guy is a physical freak at 6'6" 330 lbs...He has been conditioned under the Shanny regime and will at least be able to play, without flopping all over the field and needing to come out for a breather. He may not start this 1st game because of huge ego's... But when Shanny see's the Dallas line and their backups pushing our guys down the field, until fal al comes in...he will then hopefully realize to himself and say...."Damn...looks like I need this chump on our Defense"! So unless Shanny wants Dallas gashing our Run Defense for 250 yards rushing with Jones and barber....He might want to consider putting in the 100 M dollar man... even if for only spot duty. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
This will end come Sunday night. Shanny does not let him start to maka his point and when AH gets in he shows why he gets paid the big bucks.

Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
On NFL Network they've broken him down over and over and on several occasions they've shown that he doesn't play the defense, he's un disciplined, he loafs and only plays hard on a few plays. When he plays hard he's tough to block. He put Fanaca right on his back the other night. But why doesn't he play hard ALL THE TIME? Cause he's lazy and has a shitty tude. So with all of that he really doesn't deserve to play that much. Maybe a few plays here and there but that's it.

Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
The Dallas game is going to be great. Witten is going to have about 150 yards and they are going to run at will on us while Haynesworth is on the bench.
Boy, Shanny is really showing everyone who's boss... Can the season just start? Why the hell is the coaching staff's internal discussions leaked to the paper? Shanahan was supposed to be smarter than this. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
I watched him and I'm not surprised especially after he had complained after the Ravens game of playing with 3rd stringers. He was giving "minimal" effort and boy did it show, that's his way of pouting instead of to the media. What a fat PUSS.

Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
Me thinks Haynesworth won't be seeing the field very much at least during the first few games.
This is actually playing out just as one would imagine. Shanahan would rather lose in what he considers "the right way" than play that piece of shit. I guarantee that. |
How shocking...a veteran not giving his all for a couple of plays in the final preseason game. This is such a newsworthy story!
yeah no shit dude...if he plays like a hot pile in the regular season, then i'd worry, but until then, i'm not sweating it man. |

I tend to agree with this article, why not just release the guy and move on with a clean slate? |

Preferably if a 4-3 DT goes down and somebody wouldn't mind giving up something for him, either a pick or if it isn't an injury situation than a guy who wants to leave a team. Even if it's just like a 4th or 5th round pick, I'd rather get something than nothing for him. There's no way anybody is going to give up a 2nd round pick, so we might have to settle for less. Either way by now it's not just hurting the team it's making our staff look bad, and I know I'm not the only one who's tired of it. |

I guarantee that.
Well,if Shanahan is calling the shots on who plays on Defense, when we have a well established D-coordinatorin Haslet to decide Defensive personel...then this team is already in trouble. If there's one thing a person can crticize Shanny for,is his knowlesge of Defense or lack thereof.. Remember when he signed all the browns D-line on Denver in his tenure? What am I saying? I'm saying the fued between Shanny and Haynesworth should have nothing to do,with haslet putting Haynesworth in on his D-line rotation. It should be haslet's call..not Shanny's.. If Shanny is specifically putting his interest into the defense on Haynesworth's account and his playing time because of this pissing contest....then I will have lost respect for Shanny in this regard. Besides,Shanny needs to worry about our lackluster running game from what I've seen and how he's going to correct it... Otherwise,it won't matter if haynesworth plays or not imo... I will hold judgement until after Dallas game... I'm on a wait and see approach! |

I tend to agree with this article, why not just release the guy and move on with a clean slate?
This is what aggravates me. I think Shanny and Allen have done a lot of good. IN general they're running a much more professional ship than we've had in years. But I am sick of Shanny's crap with AH. This BS notion that "everyone is the same" is just that BS. Good managers know that you don't manage every employee the same way. If you do then you aren't a good manager. Obviously AH is a doucheturd but if you think he's too good to get rid of then you need to manage him the best way possible. This asshatedness of trying to break him and make conform is not going to work...ever. And all Shanny is doing is continuing to keep a distraction going. |

Asshatedness. Haha

Good point FRPLG....Your post repeats verbatim the very point I tried to make in an earlier thread. |
Re: Haynesworth was "awful" (WP) - may not start against Dallas
Haynesworth needs to be out there. Not saying we can't be good without him, but we are only better with him.
Did I mention the Washington Post is still retarded? |
