They were HORRENDOUS. I bought one for like $1.50 from eBay and now I use it to discipline my pets or to be REALLY annoying to my wife. Check out my Facebook, there's a pic...

I actually disagree. I thought the vuvuzelas were awesome and brought a unique flare to the World Cup. I thought it was pretty cool.

It might have been cool if they just blew the horns when a team scored or something, but the constant buzzing through the entire game was just maddening.

I'm not saying that I can't see where it would annoy some people, but it really didn't bother me at all.
