SS, sorry to hear it man. Here's to happier days in 2011 for you.

In a lot of ways you've already been a great dad over the past weeks and months. You'll be great when the day comes.

It's ****ing I'm tired of getting owned by the Bitch ass Giants week! Let's go out with a ****ing WIN!!!

thread is missing you.........
Who knows what my thread title would have been. I was in the extreme anger phase just a couple of days go. I was deliberately bumping into people on the subway, trying to get someone, anyone, to fight. Nobody did, which is good, I made some unwise bumps.

Sorry to hear the outcome; like Schneed said you'll be ready/great when the time is right. I hope you two stay strong, I know that you know this but you need to be really supportive of her in every sane way possible right now. We have a new year amongst us and I hope that your family finds it to be prosperous.

Our pregnancy was a surprise and I took it for granted. Now I know I won't next time and as scared I am about the next time I know we're ready.

I'll start responding in the locker room again soon. I have some thoughts and insights
SS, my ex-wife and I had a child not make it through the first trimester (a very shaky time for every pregnancy), it sounds like yours went further. Our second pregnancy was a boy, born early and immediately went into NICU (newborn intensive care) and nearly died. As my profile pic shows, he survived, and we had two more awesome kids(my next two also were early but were given medication invitro that kept them stable at birth. I hope you and your wife will be equally blessed. It is a hard time, you know that, but it's not a sign or symptom, and you and yours will recover possibly with abundance.

God speed sir.

Man, I've been away for a minute. But I'm sad, very sad, to read all of this. I've had my share of family emergencies this year, so I can somewhat relate to your pain. Time, distractions, and good friends are the way forward.

We're here for you.

It does, and I always talk about how inconsequential games are in the grand scheme of our lives. But I'll tell you through all this, it was a nice relief/temporary escape to watch the Skins play for a few hours yesterday. Made better by the fact they actually competed.
