I agree. We treat our dying animals better than we treat our dying relatives.

My father died of cancer last August. The final week of his life (not much living going on, but alive nonetheless, I suppose), he was essentially in a drug induced coma, starving to death. What purpose does that serve?

It's just sad. They'll drug you up to the point where you're not even aware of what's going on, but how about just ending your suffering altogether and get on with the inevitable at that point?

I tend to lean to the side that their is no super power but to say to SS33 he is idiot for believing that just makes you look like a bully on the playground trying to pick a fight. What you care what he believes? It is his mind his life he is not treading on you.
