Gibbs is being pretty cryptic about resigning guys. He said the standard, "We'd like to re-sign X.....but we need to consider the salary cap implications."

Jansen has been "turned loose" by his doctors.

Jansen is a force on the field and a great presence in the locker room so we're eager to get him back.

I am really itching for some kind of resigining or somthing to happen soon. Especially Perice and Samuels. I'd love Smoot too, but I'm not holding my breath for that one.

Bowen began jogging this week and is progressing well.

Khary Campbell is progressing well but he'll take awhile to recover.

It sound's like we are defiently targeting a big time reciever in the draft seem's to be our top priority, Gibb's believes Jacob;s and Thrash are defiently reciever's we can build around, sound's like he's not to enthused about McCant's, Gardner is as good as gone he asked for a trade and Gibb's said he agreed, but also said basically we are not giving him away he want's good value in return [obviously] Lavar's knee is still an issue, basically had to defend himself early on about retirement because some reporters have to drum up controversy.

Thank god he addressed this silly retirement thing. It was never an issue to start with, but as we know the media loves to make something out of nothing.

I haven't listened to it for myself yet but going from what you guys have said regarding the WR corps it sounds pretty much like we've been saying all along. Gardner is likely on his way out, Jacobs and Thrash are keepers, McCants is also probably gone unless Gibbs has a sudden change of heart, and they'll look to free agency and then the draft to fill the holes.

Did he mention Coles and his situation at all?? How about Samuels?
