Springs got paid what he got paid (a great deal for him) because he has massive injury problems. Smoot plays through them.

Sad to see Smoot go. He may not have been the best CB out there, but when he was here, he bled burgundy and gold...

i assumed when you talk about core players, that you'd want to keep them. Pierce and Smoot got away because of money. who would have thunk it with Snyder at the helm. But, again, salary cap issues that were started long before now are haunting the Skins.

i, like others, will take the high ground and hope that this is the direction we need to go in. hopefully dead money and cap woes will be cleared up next season, and we can build a more solid core of players.
